The following is a list of  the trees that we hope to have for sale at some point this year.  Please call or email to check current availability.  The heights and spreads given in the descriptions are what you can expect for a mature tree approximately ten years of age.

Parrotia persica ‘Ruby Vase’

Shape: Upright vase-shaped crown
Foliage: Flushes bronzy-red and keeps this well into summer
Fall Colour: Mostly an intense scarlet-red
Bark: Older bark is handsome, flaking in patches to display green, tan, white and gray.
Likes Sun, very tolerant once established.
H’ to 30′ W to 15′

Prunus ceracifera ‘Thundercloud’ (Flowering Plum)

Shape: Rounded
Foliage: Reddish purple leaves that hold their colour into fall
Flower: Pale pink single blooms in early spring, before leaves emerge
Light: Full sun
Size: H: 15-20’ W: 15-20’
Tolerates seaside

Prunus incisa ‘Lemon Splash’ (Flowering Cherry)

Shape: Strongly weeping habit
Foliage: Green leaves with yellow margins turn orange, red, gold in fall
Flower: Pale pink flowers in spring
Light: Full sun or partial shade
Size: H: 13’ W: 6’

Prunus incisa ‘Little Twist’ (Flowering Cherry)

Profuse clusters of white flowers with pink centers in early spring.
Leaves are green and turn orange to maroon red in the fall.
Stems and shoots that zigzag provide winter interest.
Fast grower, drought tolerant, tough.
Likes sun to part shade, adaptable to various soils.

Prunus serrulata ‘Royal Burgundy’ (Flowering Cherry)

A slightly slower growing, purple foliaged form of the Kwanzan cherry
: Broadly vase shaped
Foliage: Deep purple
Fall Colour: Bronze purple
Flower: Double magenta-pink

Prunus serrulata ‘Amanagawa’ (Flowering Cherry)

Very narrow columnar tree.
Semi-double pink flowers in later spring.
Good along property line or driveways.
Likes sun to part shade

Prunus serrulata ‘Kwanzan’ (Flowering Cherry)

A good strong grower with vase-like habit.
Very showy, double hot pink flowers in mid spring.
Good fall colours.

Early, fragrant double pink flowers.
Metallic coppery-purple foilage.
Likes sun to part shade

Prunus yedoensis ‘Akebono’ (Flowering Cherry)

Shape: Graceful wide-spreading branches
Fall Colour: Golden yellow with orange highlights
Flower: Masses of large semi-double blush pink flowers, that fade to white, on bare branches in early spring.
Likes Sun, part shade

Prunus ‘Snow Goose’ (Flowering Cherry)

Upright when young, becoming wider with age.
Pure white single flowers appear before leaves in spring.
Bright green foliage turns orange in fall.
Likes sun, tolerates some shade, some drought and seaside conditions.
Resistant to common cherry foliage diseases.
