A great tree for small gardens or a large container.
Shape: A highly attractive weeping form of Cercis canadensis. It demonstrates excellent branching with a full crown of foliage at the top.
Foliage: Dark maroon, heart shaped leaves on weeping branches
Flower: Rose-purple flowers in spring, tight along the branches
Requires good drainage, summer water.
Likes sun to part shade.
