Registration Process:
Registration for our paid workshops is online and will open at 9 am Sunday, October 19th. Be sure to have a credit card handy to finalize your registration. If registering for several participants at once please include their names and email addresses.
To simplify the registration process and to allow modifications to your booking you can create an account or log in to your existing account via MyAccount.
Cancellation Policy:
Wreathmaking workshops may be cancelled up to 24 hours before your scheduled workshop begins. You can cancel or modify a single booking via your bookings in the account dashboard.
If you need to make a cancellation within a booking for multiple participants please contact us.
A full refund will be issued for cancellations made within the specified time period.
Join our Walk & Talks this Fall!
Walk & Talks are brief (approximately 20-30 minutes), informal but informative talks which take place around the nursery. They take place outdoors (rain or shine!) so dress for the weather. Attendance is drop in, that is, no registration is required and all Walk & Talks are free of charge. Meet under the large willow tree in the parking lot and remember that the Talks start at 10 am sharp!

Planter Perk Up for Fall – with Christine

Need a hand creating a striking fall planter? Christine will review good potting practice and discuss some helpful design principles to help you rejuvenate your summer-weary pots.
Bulb Planting for a Loooonnnnng Spring Season – with Murray
Sat Oct 25 @ 10am
Ever wonder why some spring bulb displays dazzle while others fall flat? Join Murray as he demonstrates how to create layers of interest to extend your season of colour.
Fave Conifers for Year-round Interest – with Laurel
Sat Nov 1 @ 10am
Join Laurel as she walks you through her top conifer picks to add structure, texture, colour and habitat for wildlife to your garden.
Felco Sharpening & Cleaning – with Kathryn
Kathryn will guide you through the steps of proper Felco secateur maintenance. This hour long workshop will involve taking apart, cleaning and sharpening your Felco secateurs.
Please bring one pair of Felco secateurs, preferably a pair that is in need of some TLC! We will supply the rest.

Holiday Table Arrangement Workshop for Kids
This workshop caters to pint-sized participants 12 and under (one adult may accompany each child) and will guide them through the steps of creating a holiday arrangement masterpiece. All materials supplied. Please make sure to dress warmly as it can be a bit chilly in the greenhouse.

Wreathmaking Workshops with Russell Nursery Staff
Join our talented staff in making your own beautiful and unique wreath with fresh greenery, berries, pinecones, decorative leaves & twigs.
We’ll have our famous Hot Apple Cider for you to enjoy while you make your wreath and you’ll take home a one-of-a-kind creation made with your own hands.
All wreathmaking supplies provided. Workshops typically last 1.5 hours. Please dress warmly and bring your own secateurs, gloves and mug to enjoy some hot apple cider!
